Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm not much of a daredevil, but I'm doing this skydive because I want to raise money on behalf of Brain Tumour Research and do something my Grandad would be shocked and surprised at.

Last summer my Grandad was diagnosed with having a brain tumour and they had no way of telling us why he had it and were unable to do anything other than make him more comfortable. My Grandad was a strong stubborn man and the best Grandad you could ever ask for. I never saw him ill, hurt, only working hard outside and against playing cards with us! I could never had imagined what happens to individuals when they have a brain tumour, and one day I hope they find a way so that no grandparent, parent, husband/wife, child, brother/ sister, cousin, uncle/aunt, friend is lost to this.

So please take a minute and sponsor me to do something to raise awareness and funding for Brain Tumour Research.
