Event: Virgin London Marathon 2013, on 21 April 2013
We fund specialist equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

In April 2013, I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for Newlife, a charity that helps disabled and terminally ill children.

But thats not all! I will be doing this as part of an eight man team, with each teammember aiming to complete the race in a good time, all of us having done the gruelling 26 miles.

But because a marathon isn't hard enough, we will be doing this in boots and combats, each carrying 20kg.

So go on, dig deep, and you can know that the deep regret I feel for signing up for this event is worth it.
