I'm running the 2022 TCS London Marathon in support of The Fire Fighters Charity. They provide specialist lifelong support for members of the UKs fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives.

I am a Firefighter for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service, and have seen / heard first hand from my colleagues as to what an amazing job the Firefighters Charity does! 

There is also a very personal reason for me running the Marathon, in memory of one of my good friends Matt, who sadly passed away just 3.7 miles from the finish line while running the London Marathon in 2018, this is also for him!
