I've obviously been a bit slack arranging sponsorship for the Great Manchester run, in part because we seem to get lots of requests for sponorship for people doing much more strenous activities than a flat 10k run... but in the end the money isn't for me and The Christie does an amazing job so if it gets people to give them some money it can only be a good thing! Also they sent me a t-shirt this week saying 'I'm Running for The Christie', which made me feel very guilty.
