I have been inspired by the incredible battle my beautiful sister Carol waged with cancer. Such a gentle, graceful person who was an example to us all and who deserved better and is greatly missed in so many ways by so many people. Not least of all by her family.  I never heard her moan or be self pitying despite all she had to endure. She always managed a smile and enquired how others were feeling in preference to talking about her self bless her. A gift I am sure you would agree!

I am lucky enough to be able to run and help others so that's what I am going to do!!. I am up for running 10 miles on a Sunday morning with crowds to cheer me on because that's how all of us manage to acheive anything difficult!!

MacMillan was a natrual choice to raise funds for because they do great work by lending much needed support to all involved with the cancer journey. From patients, their friends and families to the professionals who care for them. They too are inspired and passionate about helping others as they helped Carol and her family iin their time of need.

I too and even you may need their passion one day. No amount is too small. It is the thought and the sum total that counts in the end!!. Here's sharing love, happiness and positivity with all those taking the time to read this!!!!!!!
