Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may know i have entered to take part in the Belvoir Challenge on March 5th in aid of cancer research. I have selected this charity as i would like to raise money in memory of my mum who died over ten years from cancer.
This event is a 26 mile cross country marathon!
When I entered I had no real concept as to how far this was and also that a cross country marathon is more difficult than a road race.
I am training with Harry an ex para trooper and army fitness instructor so training is horrific but at least he is fairly attractive to look at and i have no doubt that he will make sure i am fit enough to complete the event. He is also going to complete the race with me as he has actually researched the event and has made me aware that i have to navigate the route my self and get to various check points before they close - which i have no chance of being able to do as i can't map read.
