Postpartum psychosis is a horrible illness that robs mums of their mental health and the precious first weeks and months of motherhood. It causes awful suffering to mums and their families at an important time in their lives.

I’m jumping for APP because they help mums and their families through the ordeal of postpartum psychosis, and through their recovery and beyond as they put their lives back together and make sense of what happened to them. They also facilitate academic research into the causes of APP, which might help in future to prevent lives being blighted by this awful illness.
