We are the world’s largest charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464), Scotland (SC041666), the Isle of Man (1103) and Jersey (247).

Story

Pauline Wood (Mother, Grandma, all round good person) lost her hair during chemotherapy... it would go.. then come back and then it would disappear again... so we have decided to do something to help people who lose their hair during chemotherapy. There is  a charity that makes wigs. They use real hair! They provide the wigs free of charge to young people who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment. So, on June 3rd, Millie, Phoebe and I are having all of our hair cut off. I am having mine shaved off, Millie is bobbing it and Phoebe hasn't decided yet between shaving it all off or the little pixie look. By the way, we are donating our hair to the charity that makes wigs. We are asking that in return, you donate money to Cancer Research so that we can stop peoples hair falling out in the first place :-)
