Story
It is a massive challenge for me to run 5k. I drink too much; eat too much; have no time and its bloody hard work! But for some reason I'm training three times a week on a treadmill that doesn't go anywhere!. The run is on July 14th - just before the kids break up for the holiday. Isabella thinks its my sports day!
I'm doing it to support our local hospice in Newark. They need half a million pounds annually from individual donations to keep going. I'm also trying to stay healthy for our girls, to lose all my extra weight (for which I hold the babies responsible and not the carrot cake). The hospice offers loads of community support as well as residential beds and day places. It looks after people and their families within our community in their most needy hours and they do it all at no charge. Its a great place and its well managed. I find running really hard work and finding three hours a week to practice is a real challenge. Please dig deep to support both me and the hospice.
Thank you
