For a long time I've wanted to do something for Vision Aid Overseas. As I've worked in Opticians for many years now, I have always been aware of the amazing work they're doing worldwide. So this year I picked up a flyer in a magazine and decided I'd do it!

10K is more than I've ever run before so I'm going to have to train lots and to be honest flying on my own to another continent is a very scary thought (oh gosh what have I done) and then there's injections to be had. But in truth, I'm young and fit, and if I can use that to help others who are less fortunate then it's kind of a no brainer. £2500 is a lot of money. This is the minimum I need to raise to do the trip, part of which will include a visit to one of their projects to have a chance to see first hand the difference they're making. Please help me achieve my goal!
