Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Saints v Sinners is a great Marden village event when a cricket team from the Church take on a cricket team from the Unicorn pub. In its 11th year, it’s a date in the diary that the participants and their supporters have used as a bit of fun on a sunny day. Unfortunately this year feels very different. Whilst starting to plan this year’s match one of our number was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which when set alongside other friends in the village dealing with breast cancer and bowel cancer catalysed a collective desire to do something to help.

As a result this year’s event will become the Saints v Sinners Charity Bash, bringing together as many people as we can muster from Marden and the surrounding area with the aim of raising a sizeable amount of money for Cancer Research.

Please help us reach our target by donating through JustGiving, it is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity, saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
