We grant wishes for terminally ill adults to bring joy by helping create memories.
Story
After my mate Lyndsey Roughton was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in 2009, family members & friends came together to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
Since Lyndsey’s passing on the 26th February 2014, the family decided to fundraise alongside the ‘Purple Heart Brain Tumour fund’ and raise money to ensure that adults with a terminal illness or a brain tumour get to experience something magical as they have always dreamed through ‘Purple Heart Wishes’
Purple Heart Wishes give adults the opportunity to experience something special during a time that is very difficult. There are many wish charities for children but not for adults and they want to make that change.
So, to try and help raise some money for the charity, I've decided to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro! I'll be leaving home Feb 1st 2016 & hopefully reaching the summit around the 7th.
Considering I can't climb a flight of stairs without moaning.....this should be interesting!
So dig deep & get donating!!
