I am fundraising for free vascular access surgery for kidney patients in the Gambia.
On the 10 May 2017, a team of medical volunteers from the Manchester Royal Infirmary Hospital travelled to the Gambia to provide desperately needed free vascular access surgery to the kidney patients. This surgical procedure cost £500 at a private hospital in The Gambia and £800 in Dakar, Senegal, which the majority of patients cannot afford.
The team operated on as many patients as the 7 days would permit. However, there are still many more patients still waiting for a vascular access they cannot afford to pay for. With your valuable support, the team can return to The Gambia to help the remaining patients.
Please dig deep and sponsor this life saving initiative. Thank you.
