We fund research into SMA to help find a cure and treatments

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Abigail Sheila Hawtin was born in April 2013 to complete my friends  little family. Their lives were ripped apart 4 months later when she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and they were told she would very likey die before she reached her 1st birthday. True to the statisics our beautiful brave girl passed away on December 6th 2013  aged 8 months leaving a massive hole in our lives.

We are fundraising as Team Abigail for The SMA trust who give the most funds to finding a cure for SMA in the hope by the time their grandchildren come along Abigails Big Brother Joe and baby sister Rosie will not have to face the same awful experiences they have.
