Hi everyone, I’ve decided to have my long hair cut short to donate the length of 14 inches to the charity ‘little princess trust’, who make wigs for children with Cancer.  When making my decision to do this, I wanted to help further by raising money for charity. I wanted to help charities that are close to my heart but also one that helps with a growing situation in our country at the moment, so I’ve decided to raise a fixed amount for each charity, my chosen charity’s are ‘Target Ovarian Cancer’, ‘Breast Cancer Now’ & ‘Crisis’. I have chosen to donate to an ovarian & breast cancer charity because in 2006 my Mum was diagnosed with stage 3C/4 ovarian cancer, which amazingly she managed to recover from, but unfortunately in 2009 my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer & devastatingly lost her battle just 5 months after being diagnosed. I believe in supporting the work these charity’s do in order to find better treatments, enable earlier detection & one day find a cure, I have faith that this can be done, so please whatever you can donate towards this, will help. My third charity is a homeless charity, which I chose because of the increasing number of homeless people in the UK. In my opinion no one should have to sleep on the streets, no matter what, there should always be somewhere that people can turn to in their hardest times. I often thought through the winter just gone how awful it must be to have nowhere warm to go & to not know if you’ll see another day! People don’t choose to sleep on the streets, they are just unfortunate to fall on hard times with nowhere to turn & that could happen to anyone at anytime, so please, I implore you to donate only what you can afford & it will go to help those most in need.

I have set a target for how much I would like to raise & when this is reached I will have my haircut & send the length to ‘little princesses trust’. I will keep you all informed of when this happens & share the pictures/video of my haircut.
