We support young carers in Oxfordshire to improve their mental wellbeing

Story

'I don't get pupil premium so don't get free school meals, sometimes there is no food at home so I can't take a packed lunch to school'

This is what I heard this week from one of our young carers. The cost of living crisis is hitting Oxfordshires young carers and their families. I am raising funds to ensure that every young carer who comes to our activities or youth groups has access to a hot meal or snacks.

No child should go to bed hungry.

In order to raise funds and awareness of the fantastic work Be Free Young Carers do, I will be running in fancy dress representing BFYC logo.

Times are tight, but there are young carers, children, you may pass by in our community that need your help now. BFYC is funded solely on donations, the BFYC team are doing all they can to support young carers but need your help. Any money you give will go directly to providing food for our young carers in this cost-of-living crisis.

A huge thanks in advance for any donations.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
