Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving Page!

The NIHR SRMRC Research Team is taking part in the X-Runner Wild Mud Run on the 6th April in Derbyshire. The challenge has been described as the muddiest event in the world, with sixty challenging obstacles over a 10k trail. We'll be taking on monkey bars, giant walls, cargo nets, balance beams, hurdles, water, fire and lots and lots of mud!

We're raising money for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity which does so much amazing work to support our patients across the hospital. We are training together and we will finish the challenge - team work is really important in our job and this challenge is definitely going to bring us closer. Everyone from the department is getting involved; nurses, admin and doctors.

We are hoping our family, friends and colleagues will donate generously to this good cause and keep us motivated in our training and help get everyone round the course in one piece.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
