Story
My son Ryan Rudden was born on 30th January 1995. He tragically lost his life on the 12th May 2021. He was just 26 years old.
This page has been set up in memory of Ryan. Instead of buying flowers for his funeral and also in memory of him, the family are asking for donations to raise funds for RoadPeace - the national charity for road crash victims. We feel this charity most suitable as it also aims for improvements in the way the justice system responds to crashes and believes road crime should be treated as real crime. It was set up by a mother whose son (also 26 years old) was killed by a red light offender who also fled the scene.
Ryan was riding his motorbike carrying his friend Adam Davies when due to the actions of another road user there was a collision. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene leaving them helpless and Ryan dying in the road. No help was offered or attempt to raise help. Ryan lost his life and Adam sustained serious injuries.
Ryan and Adam are a long way from getting justice. Supporting Roadpeace will enable more victims and their families to obtain justice now and in the future.
Ryan had his whole life to live. He simply loved life and lived it to the full and always looked out for his friends and family. It was guaranteed that he would always make you laugh and smile with his infectious sense of humour. He will be forever missed but also forever remembered by so many.
