Story
There's only one city that could've tempted me out of marathon retirement and I was lucky (or unlucky!) enough to get a place in the ballot for this year's NY marathon.
On November 7th, I'll be running 26.2 miles in aid of a brilliant charity DEBRA. DEBRA work really hard to raise money for people in the UK with a genetic condition called EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa). It's a rare skin condition which causes terrible suffering to those with it and at present has no effective treatment or cure.
So although for 26miles I'll be in a mild state of discomfort, this is nothing in comparison to what people with EB go through everyday.
If you'd like to help DEBRA with their fantastic work please sponsor me - every donation, no matter how small counts.
Thank you! And if you fancy giving me a call when you wake up on Sunday November 7th, I'll probably need some telephone coaching at about 21 miles (about 9am GMT!)
