Story
The Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital is one of only two centres in the UK offering heart transplants and life saving operations for over 300 critically ill babies and children every year. CHUF carries out some amazing work to raise funds for equipment, facilities, aftercare and research for the Children's Heart Unit and the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.
As I'm lacking in any sporting ability, I decided to think outside of the box and come up with something a little bit different from the usual running and marathon type fundraising efforts. So, I'm giving up meat for the entirety of January. I'm usually a pretty enthusiastic meat eater, vegetarians mostly just baffle me, and I've got no idea what I'll eat all month, but I'm sure I'll work it out along the way.
So yes, it's obviously for a brilliant cause and any donations would be very greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
