So. 10 months ago I could barely run 1 mile. And now I have signed up to run 10 of them. In a row. Without stopping. I'm not quite sure how this happened, but it's all for a very good cause...
Multiple sclerosis is one of the commonest neurological diseases affecting young people in the UK. The underlying cause remains unknown, and there is no cure. It's something that I feel particularly strongly about, and am currently carrying out research into potential causes of MS. The MS Society provides much-needed support to people with MS together with their carers, families and friends. They also support much of the research that is being done around MS, both looking at potential causes and treatments. And they rely on voluntary donations to do all of this.
So, please dig deep and give what you can. I'll need as much motivation as I can get to push myself round the 10 miles, so every penny really does count!
