When Nic and I lived in London, we both volunteered for Faith in Action, the drop-in centre for homeless and insecurely homed people in South London, offering food, showers, laundry and fellowship. I wrote the words for ‘A Homely Blessing’ and we commissioned the setting by Helen Sanderson White.
