27 Years ago Ron, pictured with Poppy, had a Bone Marrow transplant. Without it my daughters would never have known such a wonderful person and brilliant Grandad.  My cousin was not so lucky, something we will never forget.  

Recently my friend has been told he needs a transplant and so I have been spurred on to do something bonkers.  Those of you who know me well will know, despite me being a PE teacher for 20 odd years, how much I hate training and especially Cardio-vascular stuff.  So it seemed appropriately bonkers enough to have a go at an Olympic distance Triathlon.  I would be grateful for any donation, however small.  I would also love you to pass on this page to anyone who might be generous enough to donate a little something.  I need to raise £600, phew!
