We provide emergency critical care to 2.1m people of Bristol & local counties
Story
As dedicated cyclists who pedal throughout the year we have witnessed cycling accidents that have involved the support of the Air Ambulance Service and understand the importance of this charitable service. Following successful European cycling adventures to Rome, Barcelona and Lisbon Paul Workman (Stoker) my cycling partner and I(Captain) have become a dedicated Tandem team. This year 2016 we have decided to stay in the UK and take on 3 challenges on our tandem.
In April as a warm up we will be taking part in the Heart of England 307KM Audax (192 miles in one day).
In May we will be cycling with tandem and trailer the famous Coast to Coast route Whitehaven to Sunderland 138 miles crossing the Pennines in 2 days then we will turn around and cycle back to Whitehaven following Hadrian's Wall 174 miles in 2 days. (We actually completed in 3 days)
In October we will cycle with our trailer again the most famous UK cycling challenge Lands End to John O'Groats (End to End). We plan to achieve the approximate distance of 1100 miles in 10 days.
Please dig deep and support our challenge by donating what ever amount to this great charity.

We provide air ambulance and critical care across Bristol, B&NES, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. On average we attend 5 incidents every day.
As a charity we need to raise £4m each year to keep flying.
