By the Grace of Allah SWT, Islamic Shakhsiyah Foundation has secured a wonderful opportunity to purchase a building for Shakhsiyah School, Slough. 

Shakhsiyah school has been serving the Slough community for 16 years. We must relocate as our lease has ended; we have been unable to secure any further lease for rent in the local area. We are purchasing Cippenham Lodge*, a Grade II listed building suitable for our school. Without your help to purchase this site, our school faces closure.

We will need to raise a further £930,000 by 28th September 2019.

Why should you support our campaign?
• Our schools and nurseries have served the community for 16 years
• Our teacher education workshops have been delivered nationally and internationally
• Our innovative resources such as the Halaqah curriculum, are used in other schools
• Many alumni are now college and university graduates working to serve the wider community
• Alumni have gone on to pursue and become Hufadh of Qur’an, and gained admission to Islamic institutions such as Madinah University, Markaz al Fajr, Markaz Masarawee in Cairo, Egypt and Ebrahim College, London
• Alumni have gained admission and graduated from universities such as the University of Cambridge, Kings College, University of London and School of Oriental and African studies, University of London
• Alumni have gained admission to study medicine at the University of London

How will your donation/loan be used?
• 100% of your donation will be used for the propagation of Islamic education
• Your donations are needed urgently to purchase a school building
• Securing the building will allow us to continue to educate 120 children each year
• We will have stability, and can use fees for Islamic educational purposes instead of rent
• We will be able to offer improved facilities e.g. play areas, classrooms, books & equipment
• We will be able to invest in and retain our staff
• We will be able to develop educational resources like our Halaqah and Qur’an curriculum
• We will be able to develop our Shakhsiyah Community and Youth projects
