We fund research & therapeutic initiatives to improve the lives of those with cancer

Story

Very sadly, my friend Brendan recently passed away after  two and a half years of fighting stage 4 bowel cancer.

I'm going to run the Endurancelife Exmoor Marathon in his memory and to hopefully raise some money for Climbers against Cancer. A cause I know he would have appreciated.

Brendan was the brightest and most kind person I’ve ever met. He would make everyone’s day better without fail. his passion for life and living in the moment was infectious. It was impossible to be sad around Brendan.

He’ll be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Hopefully this run can raise some money for a good cause.

I’ve not got very long to train, so don’t expect a good time! I wanted to do a run somewhere beautiful where I know he’d have loved. Also, a flat marathon didn’t feel very Brendan, so I’ve gone for 1850m ascent!

A fighter and a joker until the very end. Love you always big man.
