Run to Hawaii’ is in direct support to the 1664 Global Challenge, completed earlier in the year.  Aim – collectively run the distance between Washington D.C and Hawaii (these locations representing the most Eastern and Western Royal Marines based in-country).  The total distance is 4,826 miles and the miles were to be completed on an individual basis, around existing commitments to enable maximum flexibility, with the intent to complete the challenge by the Corps
Birthday. This equates to c250 - 320 miles per RM (averaging c15 miles per week) between 1 Jun and 28 Oct.
