Story
The Team
Sam, Matt, Amit, Sunil P, Nigel and Sunil B have come together to Walk, Run or Cycle 800km to raise money for MH UK.
Purpose
Mental health UK supports thousands of children and adults every year. This extensive period of disruption, uncertainty and unexpected change has increased anxiety and stress amongst young people. Anxiety and frustration about exam results, extended period out of education, and worry about ongoing certainty of the pandemic are some of the challenges young people are dealing with.
Sam Uppal
“I’m really excited about supporting MH UK, the work they do with Bloom is fantastic and makes a huge difference. Plus I get to compete with old friends and show them up!”
Amit Chakravarty
It’s so important to be considerate and aware of mental health problems today. I’m excited to be helping the cause by getting outside and doing my part on my feet or with bike pedals. Teaming up with old friends is all part of the fun!
Sunil Patel
Mental health can sometimes be difficult to recognise and can have a devastating impact on people’s lives. This is why I am supporting (with help from friends) Mental Health UK to promote its work for people affected by such health problems.
