Story

A team of family and friends have decided to run for Scotty at the New Forest Marathon event on the 11th September 2022, taking part in both the half marathon and 5k events. The team will be running for Scott’s chosen charity Maggie's Southampton so that people with cancer get the support they need across the South.

Scott was diagnosed with lung cancer back in December 2021 and has since had surgery and chemo treatment in order to beat this horrible disease. Scott found comfort at Maggie’s before and after hospital appointments and the centre and staff helped Scott at his time of need.

Keep an eye on our justgiving page for updates from the team as the build up continues.
