We wanted to use our strong team ethic to help raise money for a worthy charity and have chosen the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. A very special friend was diagnosed earlier this year with Lung Cancer, Lucy is 35 years old and truly inspirational. The diagnosis was very out of the blue as she is extremely fit and to date has run over 50 marathons including 12 ultra marathons with distances up to 104 miles in one run. She even smashed this years London Marathon! We really wanted to raise money to help the charity and to save lives and support those living with Lung cancer. With Lucy being so fit and strong, we did some brainstorming to see what we could do to really push ourselves. We decided the assault course would take us out of our very comfy salon environment and be a real challenge for us clean hair freaks!  If we survive it's back to the salon for a team hair washing and blow-dry bar event!
