We fund bowel cancer & disease research to save and change lives

Story

We have set up this JustGiving page in memory of our Mum, Roz, who left us too early on 11th November 2019, aged 64.

For the last two years, Mum has fought a battle against colorectal cancer. Despite the challenges of chemo and all of the treatment she had to have, she never once gave up and faced every challenge with positivity, courage and an amazing inner strength. She was an inspiration to us all.

She carried on doing everything she loved - ballroom dancing, gardening, cooking and spending time with our family. In her determination to live a normal life, she allowed us all to create more precious memories as a family and never let cancer get in the way.

Mum received fantastic care and had nothing but praise for everyone who helped her. She would talk to and take a real interest in everyone she met, and had a deep respect for everyone who goes to work each day to help other's get better. Mum was a natural carer, and was so grateful for the kindness she was shown.

It's for this reason, that we've set up this page. By donating to Bowel & Cancer Research, we hope that we can go a little way to helping find new treatments and gain a better understanding of Bowel cancer so that people like Mum can have more time with their loved ones. We wouldn't want anyone to feel obliged to donate, but we have set this up for those that would like to donate in Mum's memory.
