We help people with Osteogenesis Imperfecta to be independent and feel less isolated

Story

We - Rob's university housemates from Rothbury Terrace - are raising money on behalf of our dear friend, Rob Goldsmith, who tragically died in 2022 due to complications arising from Osteogensis imperfecta (brittle bone disease).

Rob was a wonderful and kind hearted friend.  His enthusiasm for life, sense of humour and slight lack of common sense(!) were perhaps best displayed by his famous public performances with his 'dancing crutch' air guitar.  He was also godfather to our son Joshua, and I never heard him happier nor prouder than when asked to fulfil this role.

Rob fought hard throughout his life not to be held back by his OI, and taught us all so much about how to face adversity.

We all miss him very much, and are proud to do the Y3P in his memory.  Any donation will be very welcome, and will help the Brittle Bone Society help others living with OI.
