Story
Rosy was a heartwarming, colourful and beautiful person who had a positive connection with so many people. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with an extremely rare appendix cancer which took over in a matter of months, Rosy sadly passed away on 23rd December 2022 aged 35 years old.
The care, attention and warm welcome we received from LOROS, a hospice for patients who sadly are losing their lives was second to none. Incredible staff, facilities and care around the clock. This service is also for family members too which helped me and Rosy's immediate family ever so much. LOROS relies on donations to provide for the people that need it the most.
I want to raise awareness of how important this type of care is. You never know when you, a family member, friend or colleague may require it yourselves.
13 Friends and I will be taking on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge at the end of April which we have all been training hard for. We are doing this in Rosy's name.
Thank you for reading.
Michael Manger, late husband of Rosy.
