We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Hey,

Even though I retired from running after doing the Great North Run in 2006 the memory of how bad it was has obviously faded as I've decided to give it another go! I'll be running on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society so please give generously as it's for a worthy cause.

Last time I went round in 2:01 so have got to make sure I'm well under 2 hours this time (partly so I don't have to go back again!) - if I don't then I'll stick £100 in myself, can't say fairer than that eh?

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. There are 750,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025. Many of their 25,000 members have personal experience of dementia, as carers, health professionals or people with dementia themselves, and their experiences help to inform their work.

Many thanks for the support, any donation you make will be greatly appreciated.
