Story
When you first hear that an illness could affect the livelihood of someone you hold dear, it's awful.
Knowing that there's so little you can do to help, makes it all worse.
At the end of last month, my dad found out that he has bowel cancer that has been undiagnosed for 2 years. I know he'll pull through, he's a fighter, this man pulled through Leukaemia some 25 years ago. But surely no-one deserves this much pain in their life, right?
Unable to sit by with the knowledge that there's next to nothing I can do to help, I've brought it upon myself to do SOMETHING.
Over the coming months, I'm going to be running a series of charity fundraising events and schemes, and donating the proceeds to Cancer Research UK.
I'm first starting by shaving my head in a few weeks, and collecting donations for the above mentioned charity. Also shaving their heads with me are Ben Street, James Doney, Ryan Williams and Woody Ousey. Big respect for these guys!
Anybody that wishes to donate, please dig deep and get donating! Every penny will be appreciated!
