Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'd like to say our bikes have been dusted down and put to use but they were so old and rusty we had to borrow ones from friends!  It is so long since we have cycled with a purspose and, yes, you guessed it, all the platitudes are true: Why don't we do it more?...How much better you feel...How much fun the hills are - going down at full speed, that is!

The architect working on the project got us involved by sparking the idea and now we're hooked, planning a Coast to Coast route that may be a reality next year as there are some keen cyclists involved in the work. So, watch this space.

On Saturday we're cycling 45 hilly miles to raise funds to buy bicylces for the team in Uganda, who will all be cycling around town with their Third Hope Africa T shirts and the strapline: Breaking the Cycle of Poverty! We hope to be able to raise enough to also buy bikes for the first thirty children who will soon be joining the project.
