In memory of my father who I lost last year through a sudden heart attack, I pushed myself harder mentally and physically then at any other time using the crowds and runners as added motivation and support to smash the Guinness World Record for running a Marathon whilst carring an 80 lb Backpack - 5 Hours 58 Minutes.

The scars and bruises I have picked up along the way of my training and on race day, will in the days and weeks to come slowly fade away, but in the months and years ahead I shall always remember this day in honouring my father.
