I am running The Big Half to raise funds for PSC, a weird liver disease I was diagnosed with 2 years ago. 

Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is an immune-mediated disease of the bile ducts. Although my condition is stable at the moment, symptoms can be severe and unpredictable, sometimes progressing rapidly to end stage liver disease and the need for a liver transplant. Every donation to PSC Support will help fund groundbreaking PSC research, taking them closer and closer to an effective treatment and cure.

PSC Support have been an amazing sounding board for any questions I have ever had, particularly during the frantic late-night Googling sessions back in the uncertain days of my diagnosis. I've been to a couple of their Information Days too, and what they are doing with the little funding they have is truly remarkable.

Any amount big or small will be going towards a brilliant charity, and apart from actually having this disease, there really is nothing in it for me (wink).
