I've been a runner for many years, but haven't competed in ultra events for a long time. I have been training for several months and this is the perfect opportunity to get back to ultra distance. I live on my boat continually cruising the inland waterways of England, so thought fundraising for Canal & River Trust was my way of giving back to the charity who look after our wonderful waterways. Life really is better by water.
