Story

A huge thank you to all those who donated in kind words and cash! We smashed the target and stand at £822 with an additional gift aid payment of £180.

A massive £1002.

We actually cycled over 400 miles in the end, but that was down to a slight detour in Paris - the sat nav didn't want us to get to the Eiffel Tower!! (Or so I'm told).

Really touched by all the messages and donations and in particular to David and Mary, Paul, Gill, Jack and Matt who we met briefly in France (the evening at Les Touches), thank you!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When school breaks up this summer I will be putting on my cycling gear and taking the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff.   From there, over the course of 7 days, I will be cycling 370 miles to the Eiffel Tower at the same time as the Tour De France complete the final stages.

The longest cycle is 65 miles which takes me through the beautiful countryside of Brittany, then into Normandy and (hopefully downhill) into the Ile De France and Paris.

It will be a tough challenge but I am hoping the weather will be kind to me.  Oh and I am taking along a 'sidekick' - my dad!
