Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This June I will be cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise money for York Against Cancer as it reaches its 25th Anniversary.
Two years ago five out of the current team cycled 1012 miles in 12 days raising £23,000 and this year the aim is to cycle a similar distance (but with more hills and a detour to York) over 13 days and raise over £25,000. This is no small undertaking both in terms of the distance and the amount we hope to raise, especially with an average age close to 60.
This distance is made all the longer as my body is anything but a temple and any strenuous excercise in recent years has come in the form of 50 minutes of rugby at the weekend or 18 holes of golf (with a buggy). Therefore 85 miles a day for the best part of two weeks is going to be a huge challenge and one that your support will make a real difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and any donations no matter the size are all very gratefully recieved.
