Story
On the 21st March 2014 I will be embarking on a challenge which will be pushing myself to the very limits of human endurance.
This challenge involves doing three marathons in three days along the Jurassic Coast in the South West uk. To make this even more of a challenge the training started from the beginning of this year and as you can probably imagine it took a bit of time getting into the swing of things with December being a busy period...
Despite all this I have managed to shave off a stone so far in 2014 and am currently running three times a week 2x 8 miles and finishing the week off with just under half a marathon.
I am pumping each of these runs up an additional 2.5 miles each week so come the start date, running marathons daily will be second nature!
I have previously done Triathlons in the past and thankfully these have all been a success and it would be wrong to do this challenge alone. I managed to draft in a few key players being Rhuari Binning who is a true legend and one of my best friends and also my sister Emily. Both these two companions have both got history of competing in Triathlons and Marathons and so will be a great aid in completing this task!
Sarah Groves was a truly amazing, magical and beautiful girl who sadly lost her life very tragically in Kashmir last year. She loved challenges and managed to conquer great achievments in her lifetime including climbing Kilimanjaro which by the sound of it sounded like a breeze for her and many more! I am doing this for her because she deserves for her spirit to live on and what better way than doing something that she loved and adored.
Thank you very much in advance.
Rory
