Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in in the ride London 100 cycle challenge to not only raise money for Marie Curie, but also to remember my good friend John Turner who received their care.
As many of you know, I do like a challenge and this will be like no other ! The 100 mile course starts in the New Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and follows the closed roads of London, through to the Surrey Hills . The course I will be following is a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic road race. (Move over Sir Wiggo !)
The date is Sunday 4th August 2013, so let's hope for good weather !!
The photo of me in my yellow jersey is from The 2012 Masters London to Brighton Bike Ride, in which I was fortunate to finish first.
I am an active member of Addiscombe Cycling club and ride weekly with them. The club and all its members have helped me get to my current fitness level, so I can take up these challenges to raise money for good causes.
