Ron passed away on Thursday 28th November at the Hospice in the Weald after a long battle with cancer.  A loving husband, brother dad and grandad and an avid sailor, he will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. 

Over the last 3 years Ron has receivd a huge amount of care and kindness from the staff at Guys & St Thomas' as well as the local district nurses.  He spent his final weeks in The Hospice in the Weald.  Their staff and volunteers were outstanding, providing care, love and attention to Ron. They made him comfortable, at ease and free from pain & suffering. The staff create a relaxed and welcoming environment for all the family, nothing was ever too much trouble.

Words cannot describe the gratitude and thanks that all his family and friends hold for the Hospice. We are asking for donations to be made to the Hospice who are solely reliant on charitable contributions for the vast majority of their work.    Thank you.
