Story
On the 10 of March a team of students from the University of Bristol and members of the charityBosom Buddies will be coming together to swim the length of the English Channel. The 21 mile-long attempt will be a continuous relay, taking the team up to 16 hours to complete. It’s the first event of its kind at the University of Bristol: with all funds raised directly to supporting patients of breast cancer at the BRI.
This relay is part of a series of fundraising events helping support Bosom Buddies and the work it does in Bristol. In September 2012, two students from the University will be making an attempt to swim the English Channel. Please visit our website http://www.21miles.org.
