Story
Assalamu'alaikum,
I recently attended a talk called 'Mending Wounds' held by the Afghan Welfare Society at KCL, where i was inspired by speakers Mohammed Zeyara and Jalal Ibn Saeed to take action for the innocent civilians suffering in Afghanistan.
Since 2009, the war in Afghanistan has caused 47,745 civilian casualties with 17,774 Afghan civilians killed and 29,971 injured.
Human Relief Mission pioneers Afghanistan's first ever, Free Emergency Ambulance Service. But with few vehicles, there are millions more we are unable to serve.
I pledged to raise £1000, which will cover a twelfth of the cost for one ambulance. Please donate as much or as little as you can and share this page! As little as £1 will help in saving the lives of many and keeping families together.
Give Sadaqah Jariyah and remember your reward with Allah, for it is far greater than you think. JazakAllah Khair.
"Those who spend their property in the way of Allah, (and) thereafter, do not follow up what they have spent by reproach and with injury, for them shall be their reward with their Lord, and no fear shall be upon them, nor shall they grieve." (Al-Quran 2:262)
