Story
Canterbury Mosque (The Markaz) and Kent University have teamed up this year to help the Rohingyan Muslims. We have taken up a challenge to help raise as much money as possible to provide suhoor and iftar for those who are in desperate need of it.
Earlier this year the HRF team visited Bangladesh to carry out a variety of projects to those in need. Whilst out there the team visited Cox Bazaar to distrubute food packs to the Rohingyan Muslims. The Rohingya are often said to be the world's most persecuted minority and have been called 'The Forgotten People'
The HRF team will be revisiting the Rohingyan Muslims again this Ramadan to deliver essential aid. It costs £75 to feed a family suhoor and iftar for Ramadan, with your support we would like to feed as many people as possible. The Rohingya are dependant on this humanitarian aid for survival.
