Story

In December 2014, my friend Andreas was subjected to a horrific attack with battery acid on the doorstep of his own home in Truro in a case of mistaken identity. The injuries he suffered were horrific and life changing. The support from Face Forward in providing surgery which would otherwise have been difficult to access in the UK has greatly helped ease his physical pain.

The story of the afternoon is best decribed by Andreas himself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCz_hMV--Is

Andreas has become a great ambassador for this charity. What they do is so important and life improving for so many people that I am proud to support them as much as possible.

From a personal point of view, this sponsorship will inspire me in what will be my first ever organised run, a challenge given to me by Andreas for my 50th year. No going back.
