The last time I ran a distance like this was over 25 years ago. This all started after I made a joke about someone else running in the Great North Run only for them to challenge me to do it. So here I am training every day. I cannot think of a better way to put this to good use by supporting the fantastic charity set up by the late Steve Prescott a man who undertook similar and much greater challenges right throughout an illness which took him away so early in his life.
