We design, fund and build in communities to provide education where needed most

Story

In memory of ADP partner James Middleton-Stewart and to raise money for the Marudyan Society, I'm cycling the London to Oxford leg of a trail which links our six English studios.

I'm also capturing the journey in a new painting which will be auctioned as part of the fundraising.  The route starts in James' home town, Sherborne (pictured), and finishes in Newcastle.

Our aim is to raise money for small community education facilities in India.  Typically, this will be a two room building in which up to 100 children will be educated.  The design will be sustainable, economic, and adapted to local climate and context.  This worthy cause is so appropriate as James was passionate about India and sustainable design.
